This category contains works that place vocalists and choirs at the forefront. The voice is here treated as a lead instrument. Works such as Burial, in which the choir plays a secondary role, are placed in the orchestral sections.
I’m quite open for different arrangement and instrumentation of these works. After all, vocal songs can be executed in a wide variety of ways. Some of these works contain only the vocal music without lyrics as I’m not really a lyricist.
