This category contains works that places the piano at the forefront and can be either solo or in orchestral context. The difficulty of the works varies. Some works can omit the orchestra without that affecting the piano part at all; others can not.
I give the performer ample space for expression, especially the use of pedals. Dynamics and tempo are guidelines and can be broken. Obviously this is more difficult with orchestral accompaniment, but still there are usually places where the performer is given space to execute the work based on own taste.
Lead sheets and / or scores are always available and indicated by the SibeliusMusic button below each track. MIDI files are also always available as is a self-contained Reason 4 file.
